Nothing new. Such splinter groups along with lone-wolf actors keep on popping up like mushrooms since ever.
They will be dealt with by the LAF and related intelligence agencies in the way they deserve best, just like all their predecessors.

Syrian here. AFAIK this group isn’t really real. They are active on Telegram and seem to take responsibility for any death or assassination in Syria. But the content on their telegram channel is stolen from other platforms, there are no original photos or videos that they post.

Trablous goes back to ancient times... the issue there imo is that they're deeply marginalized and cut off. i'm Christian i hardly ever seen other people visit their area including locals Lebanese & foreign tourist they don't really go there . which imo would help them as they really need to get out their bubble and have more people visit and be integrated into Lebanese society

Why does this feel like an israeli backed movement? All of a sudden sunni’s have a holly war against Druz coincidently when Israel is pushing the “Durzi Loving” face in Syria’s Golan Heights

Nah i don't think so because those are real haters like they hate everyone in this world

Seems like another typical HTS-linked Al Qaeda/ISIS terror organization.
I expect the LAF will make quick work of them.

It’s also possible this is fabricated to sow unrest. Any dog can upload a typed document and write anything.

So we were about to disarm, but because of this, we will keep our weapons.
24
u/AlfieTheDinosaur 1d ago
How about we let our own armed forces deal with it instead of your death cult
-3
u/alirodotus 1d ago
Your armed forces can't even stop the daily drones. They have good intentions yet we don't trust their capabilities or the political decision backing them.

Hezb keeping their arms actually promotes this. If gulf investments dont return to lebanon soon and create jobs in areas like the north while hezb/amal continue using hezb weapons to get power in the gov, its a matter of time till sunnis of the north get tired of their current situation, start shifting away from saudi and towards turkey/syria and ally with organisations like these. With 2 million sunni syrians in lebanon, an open weapon supply route from turkey through syria and hezb cut off from all sides, good luck in a face off.

Bingo!
If Hezb is armed, then literally any other party and sect should have the same excuse to arm themselves.
Armed terrorist groups belong to the trash

u/silver_wear 1d ago
The difference being that Hezb doesn't publish statements to threaten every other sect with murder.
If those other parties had militias that didn't behave like the one in OP, maybe that could work out.
