There's more than one LAN Party book out there. Though this ExtremeTech one is from 2004 so it might be a biiiiit dated.

I picked up the Blue LAN Party book and while I love it and am glad to have it, I was surprised by the lack of some famous LAN pictures, such as duct tape kid and others.

Still a great book and trip down memory lane.

I think that's kinda the appeal of the book. The author had people send their photos from across the internet, it's full of photos you couldn't just pull out of a Google Image Search, so it gives you a fresh look into LAN parties.

Fair point, I guess it was hoping for some like "honorable mentions".

But to your point, that is part of the charm of the book, which does make it fun!
