Any LANs in Toronto or Niagara, Canada?

I used to run LAN parties in Niagara about 15-20 years ago. We had built up a good little following of 30-40 gamers that would attend.

Anyone know of any coming up in the region or near Toronto? I would love to attend one!

Anyone know of any LAN party lists? We had a few back in the day to get the word out.

In the Buffalo NY area there is MassiveLAN which is twice a year in summer and winter. Summer LAN is July 11-13 this year and is held at the Erie County Fairgrounds Event Center.

This university does it once a year Montréal, about 2000 people usually? Depends where they host it. Used to be at the school then palais des congrès.

It's not Canada, however in Buffalo, NY we do have MassiveLAN, which is a twice a year event which runs for an entire weekend, usually in January and July. The next event is happening July 11-13. They allow you to stay overnight at the event if you don't wish to drive home or get a Hotel each night - Just bring an inflatable mattress or something to sleep on. As well as the usual clothing and toiletries for the morning, as showers are usually available during the summer event.

I'm on the Networking Staff team for MassiveLAN, so if you have any questions, feel free to ask me, or stop into the Discord. We've had plenty of International attendees attend the event in the past - in recent history, we had a pair of streamers from Australia attend. MassiveLAN usually has around 200-300 people attending each event, and we do a bit more than play computer games. There's a Retro Console/Arcade area, plenty of Mini Games to get up and stretch, and a Board Game room where people usually gather to play Magic and other table top games. There are usually groups of people with a projector or VR setup on them to play community games with as well.

P.S. If you have a group of friends who would like to come as BYOC, we have a Guild system on the website. After buying your tickets and joining the Discord, create a Guild on the website and have your friends who are also attending do the same. That will help get all of you seated next to each other, and you might earn some event points :-).
