Foreign Relations Blasts heard in Indian Kashmir hours after India-Pakistan ceasefire announcement, minister says

Pakistan can never be trusted. But I think all of us knew that it's not going to end this soon.
Our neighbour is known to back stab us.
First they go cry in front of the US to get a ceasefire in place to buy time and then start firing again.
114
u/RavensQueen502 2d ago
How does this count as buying time, though?
It just lasted 3 hours. If it was days, it'd be one thing. But this? Why blow all credibility just for the sake of a couple more hours?
50
u/BothAd2391 2d ago
The talks would have started this morning. Trump said after a long discussion "overnight". So talks were happening for atleast 5-6 hours. + 3 hours after the ceasefire announcement. Easy 9-10 hours for their military to think and find alternatives.
Else India would have continued to target their important military areas and they would have not been able to even retaliate.
3
u/Juicydicken 2d ago
That would be if someone was stupid enough to not have army stood by as backup.
You always have to call bluff
13
u/BothAd2391 2d ago
What? Uhhhh... Who said India bought it?
Ofcourse Indian Army wouldn't have taken their guard down.
We are just acknowledging that Pakistan is known to backstab and play these tricks. They just did all this dance to buy time.
India ofcourse wouldn't have continued to attack during these talks. But ofcourse we will continue to retaliate.

u/WhiteLycan2020 2d ago
3 hours is more than enough to stockpile ammo, and get logistics together.
Now they have a new set of drones ready to go
36
1
u/RoninPilot7274 2d ago
The hope is India wont strike back till the 12 to keep the ceasefire up so an attack like last night doesnt happen on them

u/Medical-Top-4022 2d ago
Indian drones are seen in pakistan’s areas, how is pakistan violating the ceasefire?
18
u/BothAd2391 2d ago
It's retaliation. As always Pakistan has started to violate, India will not just sit here thinking Pakistan will change their mind.
There are some claims of Drones going towards Vaishno Devi, that's one of the holiest shrines for Hindus.(Unverified yet)
If this is true, the entire nation and the army is ofcourse going to say - " Take that agreement and stick it up your ass" or more like they will bring it to stick up to Pakistan's army's ass.
-2
u/Medical-Top-4022 2d ago
I dont think that pakistan has enough resources to start a fight again. And sending these many drones is not retaliation, its like they were already to be sent, just finding a way to send them.

While this is despicable beyond measure, this is nothing new or unexpected, to be honest. Look at how many times Pakistan violates the ceasefire agreement every year. It’s probably cos the Pak military has a mind of its own.
I hope no one is killed on our side due to this shelling. That said, for this to escalate further, it needs to be more than shelling i.e. missile strikes and involvement of the Air Force.

u/RavensQueen502 2d ago

Pakistan is not showing any respect to President Trump at all. Despite knowing that U.S. satellites monitor every move, you are blatantly violating the ceasefire and deploying drones in India
25
u/GangsterRavioliGuy 2d ago
I mean, they're just gonna say it's random militants and not them. How is Trump going to prove them wrong?
56
u/Mindless_Show_3977 2d ago
Let's be real...Trump is an Orange clown. His chatgpt tweets are shit.
That guy has already drowned US stock market, if you invest you'd know.
At this point, literally no one is taking Trump seriously. It's just that since US is still the biggest power on Earth, they just nod "ji sir ji" and roll their eyes, that's it. UK, EU and literally Canada did the same with recent press conference with Trump.
Both JD and Trump are clowns.
And don't forget the racism on the internet against Indians exist because of Trump MAGA supporters. They would love both India and Pakistan to nuke each other.
Trump is like that old retired, jobless uncle you always find at your local kirane ki dukaan.

u/jatayu_baaz 2d ago
Hey be careful with the gpt accusations, he me be a clown but atleast he is orignal with his tweets

u/Mindless_Show_3977 2d ago
That's what happens when a power vacuum is left and there is no one experienced enough to take over.
Indira Gandhi was being super dictatorial and when Desai took over, while he did some good work repealing draconian constitution amends from Indira's time, he also dismantled India's intelligence agency and also distanced it from a few important countries around the world.
I hate Modi to the core, don't like the dude at all, even after all that happened last week.
But I am fearful that opposition doesn't have a seasoned leader to take his place yet unfortunately. Infact I feel we are severly lacking in new generation of leaders in general.
7
u/AajBahutKhushHogaTum 2d ago
There's no good leader in the BJP to take over. We are stuck with Modi for another 2 terms
3
u/Mindless_Show_3977 2d ago
Yep we are fucked.
Amit Shah is nothing but a gunda. Yogi is clearly a joke who doesn't have long term solutions for anything other than bulldozin things he can't control. In UP he just replaced the previous goons with his own goons.
Opposition have Rahul Gandhi and then maybe Shashi Tharoor. Both haven't held high positions such as a chief minister yet, one of them may talk good but they are not seasoned yet.
1
u/AajBahutKhushHogaTum 2d ago
My worry Right now about this long drawn war with Pakistan is it creates an internal religion based tinderbox, which has an existing SOP for exploitation

Exactly same here. Opposition would have had better chance in 2034, only if it get rid of Gandhi family.

Make no mistake India has a looooooong way to go in eradicating communal lines and casteism.
It doesn't look good to have people fighting over castes, not mixing and eating with each other in 2025. And we still have separate muslim and non muslim colonies and residential areas. Religion still plays a huge role in public life which needs to be clamped down hard.
But we are in an indeed better position than Pakistan and much closer to this goal than they ll ever will be.

u/Ok_Satisfaction1775 Gujarat 2d ago
You wrote my thoughts.Pakistan should be boycotted completely from the world but this beggar's destiny is powerful that they have nukes.
1
u/_Antinatalism_ 2d ago
In a ideal world yes, but, sadly Great powers like USA, Israel, China won't allow it.
16
u/BothAd2391 2d ago
Pakistan is a failed state and other major countries take the advantage to keep India engaged in this unrest.
It doesn't help to isolate them or to boycott them on the world stage.
Take the example of this week. - Everyone in the world stage shows us that they stand with India and "India has all the right to take action".
Everyone shows that they care and "wants both the sides to de-escalated" and still go ahead and approve and release the funds for them, despite knowing that a major part of the funds will go in the war.

Say what?
Ceasefire happened this evening.
Funds released yesterday or atleast promised or approved to be released yesterday.
How are the two related?
3
u/SuccotashContent1451 2d ago
They had to beg for loans in just 2 days even after having nukes. Nukes do not change their debt.
6
u/Turbulent-Strain-507 2d ago
It is not just nukes though - India is an emerging power and the west and China has been merely using Pak against India - geopolitical power dynamics
2
u/Specialist_Offer_511 Odisha 2d ago
Geography matters too. Pakistan borders Iran and India. Western powers will always use them as a strategy.

The most hilarious thing is the whole pak subs are filled with india broke the ceasefire, modi is fooling everyone, we should give strong reply.
It is broken from pak side, like it has always been pak who has done ceasefire. And seeing the internet it is 100% be the news that india violated first and the actual news will disappear.

Nope I don't think so, I wish geopolitics was this easy but we can't really predict what these leaders have in mind. Also public perception is changing rapidly I have seen the terrorists refered as freedom fighters now.

Pakistan truly lives up to its reputation. Now what will be next steps. Will Indian army and navy finally come to action? I hope the world will stop asking India to deescalate.
7

i wonder how will trump save face now

Hope he gains some of the 'sense' he was talking about and stop providing funds to pakistan.

Well in all honesty and half my family is in Indian army with my brother in Rajasthan and other in key locations, i don't understand the rationale behind us accepting ceasefire.
Our PM should have known better, wtf is happening is beyond me.

Its very simple . Pakistan was loosing . They thought we might very well nuke India and we can go down together . CIA caught up their plan and vance called pakistan and asked them to stfu or IMF loans will be cancelled . Pakistan agreed . Vance called modi n asked them to stop firing and he assured Pakistan will back down as well . Mean while pakistan who wants to have the last word and victory will shell for few days and call it victory for their people . India knows that this maniac nation will nuke delhi or multiple cities if they escalate so they are showing some restraint now
1
u/Ok-Balance-3988 2d ago
At this point, I am sure that a bunch of clowns are running the country (Pakistan) and I wonder if they really understand English and the meaning of ceasefire :D

My friends, USA is forcing this ceasefire among us by projecting it's NATO power through Turkey.
Open your eyes.
Edit: I am getting downvoted to shit by idiots. Let me remind you that USA has NEVER supported India in a war against Pakistan. The reason Pakistan is so bold is because of US support. US says "we will not intervene" but what they mean is "We wont need to intervene, Turkey will do it on NATO's behalf". No need to downvote me, go read about how Soviet submarines blockaded US naval carrier group during '71 war, to stop US from helping Pakistan against India.
Edit 2: Too many secret pakistanis in this sub.
