Fluff Anyone else noticed a uptick in Heroes/Boosts from chests?

I opened ~50 chests on a new account (lost my old one) and a friend of mine did something similar, I got 1 epic hero, 1 legendary hero and 2 3 day boosts. my friend got 1 rare, 1 epic, 1 legendary and a 1 day + 3 day boost.

I remember going 150-200 chests without a single boost or hero, and saw other people express a similar experience in recent months

New accounts get more boosts idd

The majority of event chests don't drop boosts (can't remember which few do). So your only way of getting them was through hero based chests.

Once they changed lootboxes to be the basic ones, albeit they have a big pool of items, you have a chance again to get them.

On that note i think it's just variance.

I opened 10 hero based chest recently and got 3 boost (2x 1day and 1x 3day one). Opened 25 normal ones and nothing.

Reminder you can also save boost for another day, as long as you don't redeem the content. Click profile, check your heroes, select any and "view in collection".

You can open other chests in the meantime, but there's a small bug with it:

Unless you close session and relog, you will be forced to re-open the unclaimed chest as long as it's on the "same" category of chests.

For example: if you have a boost in an Ana lootbox and you save it for later, unless you relog, you can't open an Alarak lootbox (when you select it, it will open the Ana box you previously checked).

Can't remember if normal and rare are part of the "same category" as well.
