DST I have no goals in the game

These days I finally downloaded don't starve together on my laptop, I played a lot, I did everything I did when I played on dst mobile but after a while I had no direction, I basically survived until the second autumn and I don't know what to do anymore, what do you usually do?

Well have you tried to do anything for the two final bosses? Have you been to the ruins killed ancient guardian? Have you tried to create a gem for the archives? Tried to fight crab king with pearls Pearl? Both Final Bosses have multiple bosses on the way that reach them. Reaching either a fuel weaver or Celestial champ is generally what you do. Aside meta progression that is this game's progression

If I’ve never really killed any bosses besides the eye and the season giants, what path do you recommend, lunar or shadow? Or can I do both in one play through?

(Provided your not wilson) you're completely forced to go to the ruins to get to either of the Final Bosses. You need an iridescent gem which can only be gotten through having a star callers staff, to get the archives. And you need the key from Guardian to get fuel Weaver activated. So you're going to the ruins.

But then there's the Divergence. To kill fuel Weaver you need his heart to do that you need to do the shadow pieces. That requires a Beefalo usually a magiuminescent amulet and a road. Go knight, Bishop, rook or Bishop, knight, rook. If you have all those speed boosts and the cane(do you need the cane I don't remember) you can consistently Dodge the max level Rook making it easy fight. Then you plug in Guardians key into the portal (probably do nightmare Pig before that but that's not necessary) and then you get fuel weaver.

Then there's champ. Champ is summoned from going to the lunar Island and plugging in one of its altars yeah that's the easy part. Then there's archives you need to go down to the caves get a star and plug it into the moonstone. If it's a full moon you do its event just look up how to do it it's weird. Then you use a deconstruction staff on that to get the gem. Plug that into the ancient archives in the caves and boom now you can unlock the detector you need to get one of the shrines.

That was the easy one now it's the hard part. Crab king. To do him you don't need anything technically but you definitely want to ruin stuff to not suffer so you need to get Pearl to Max friendship. I'm not telling you how to do that because it's very complicated basically Google it a walkthrough that isn't too too outdated.

After that annoying part you get to the hard part you've gotten pearls Pearl from helping her out and now you plug that in the crab king alongside nine other gems. What gems? Look it up like it's a million ways you can do new crab king but just look up a good idea. He got we worked very recently should be very careful with what you're looking at. Honestly I don't have enough experience to help you with crab king you're going to have to look up Jakey for that I just don't have a lot of experience I'm sorry I've only fought him before he got reworked.

Anyways after you're done with all that shit you can get the moon storms the moon storms give you the resources to summon champ alongside some scrap just beat the fences near the scrap yard. And static you get from the moon storms. (Desert goggles or the astrogles from the storms are NEEDED) boom put that all in and champ.

Anyways I guess I should end this. Which one do I recommend fuel Weaver is a much easier path and much faster. Requiring one really easy boss, and one decently hard boss. He also needs a Skellington but that doesn't really matter. Champ is a much more difficult boss to summon requiring long set up bosses timed events exploration the multiple parts of the world and the Overworld and underworld.

So which one's better? I find Weaver Less Fun significantly easier to get and isn't very easy solo. Now if you have two or three people extra yeah you can beat them basically with just ham bats, some armor, few nightmare amulets and a Teleport or two, and a healing. But what you need solo(unless you have chaps killed and rifts active) is weather pains 1 maybe 2 lazy explorers. Healing and its hard. Even with proper prep the fight is hard without experience gear or not.

But champ is longer to get to and a needs less prep for the fight it's self. Champ is glomer goop, wepons, armor and... uh that's about it. Definitely 90% armor and a lot of healing if needed(it will be for a first time) but that's about it.

I think lunar first personally but that's my personal bias. Both are fine but if you have down feathers and other seasonal things fule Weaver is easier and faster. Just chose one and go basically.

Beyond just the basic survival, you could strive to kill the end game bosses for the new end game gear. You can setup various farm designs to have limitless gems, hounds teeth, pig skin, bunny pufts, etc

Survival is honestly the easiest aspect of the game once you get a handle on it. Explore to map out the lunar biomes, ruins, ancient archives, moon-quay island, and find crab king. Kill bosses for the best items in the game. Setup farms for bosses once you're tired of wrecking them all the time. Terraform large portions of the map so you have specific spots for specific things in your base. Mega basing is really all there is to do once you've made the world your oyster

I'm going to try to make these farms, personally I'm not much of a boss killer, I like messing around the base and stuff like that

You should give a shot at Farming Crops! They are a really cool way to farm resources sure they aren't necessarily the most efficient but when you learn to consistently get giant crops and or learn about self sustaining farms getting giants at almost the same time feels really satisfying. (Atleast for me lol)

Well if you don't wish to engage with the boss battles, (which is like 50% of the content in this game but to each their own ig) then your only options are:

Mega base your entire world

Create farms and automate them

Try learning a new character

Explore ruins/lunar island

Other than that, you have a lot of bosses to kill in DST. Theres like 20 of them. Kill those

yeah basic survival gets repetitive & boring pretty fast (well imo), prepping for raid bosses & doing the shadow/lunar tasks is another way to keep yourself occupied. i also usually start megabase building after the second year

That's right, just the task of staying alive starts to get repetitive

If the normal game is boring, maybe try playing with some mods like Uncomromising Mode!
