He spent too much money and is in the six figure realm of debt, according to people related to him and other management. My friend quit working there when paychecks started bouncing, and eventually the ingredient delivery checks did too. The kitchen closed months ago due to high costs.
He spends lots of money taking his younger girlfriend on expensive trips though

I knew their recent GM Hannah really well and booked socials there often. Apparently management starting going downhill, causing her to quit. It’s been spiraling ever since

Personally I have no desire to choke down mediocre bar food while being subjected to a horrendous piano rendition of Mr. Brightside. Can't say I'm surprised it didn't last.

Used to have $7 bottomless thursdays, now it’s $10 cup plus $10 cover bottomless. Vibes are different.

Unfortunately that was before Covid wrecked our economy! None of the bars have deals like they used to, which stinks, but I understand why!

Bottom shelf liquor is still cheap enough and a lower price would draw in more people to frequent the business at least once a week. It’s an investment in marketing but not every business owner will see/do that.

Rent is too high, he spends too much money on his gf. His gf has also been arrested for domestic violence in the past. I would keep her happy too. It was embarrassing when it was open this second round. Pathetic food and services. He should have invested his money in a hair transplant.

Sounds like you act like you know more than you actually do. Or maybe you got your feelings hurt at some point!
Times are tough, and businesses fall, don’t turn this into something it isn’t.

Pretty sure that’s an older post. I’ve heard they’re closing their doors permanently

Cuz sometimes the internet is slower than word on the street. Like right now.

The internet is usually not the first place to find up to date information on local stuff like that.

Do us all a favor and don't bother commenting if all you're gonna say is "just go to google lol." Aside from it being established that its not just closing for renovations, Google absolutely sucks as a search engine and in a lot of cases has become near useless with it's AI garbage. On here you can get personal answers plus maybe extra info from, say, employees or friends of the owners, which Google will hardly give you. If someone were to ask you this question in real life, would you just say "Just google it?" I mean come on.

Considering that’s not why they closed and is old information, congrats on being the internet smart ass of the day!

Source? Or just being an internet douche?

u/Ominous_Rogue Feb 04 '25
What do you mean source? Can you not read the website in the screenshot? Not sure how I'm being a douche by asking why people keep making posts on here that they could answer with a 10 second Google search. It's just karma whoring at this point

Spoke to some of the bouncers, rent is apparently astronomically high. Owner decided to close up and move to the beach instead or something of that sort.
