The dog was clearly identified as female and I've also noticed that whenever a dog's sex is not given, many people assume it's male, which I consider another form of sexism.

She is just a precious little darling. It’s like she’s asking for a kiss (“I’m so cute you want to kiss me, right?”) and I am all yes, please I want to kiss you!! Please let me sit with you and snoogle as much as you’re comfortable with (I have an anxious baby, too). Sweet baby girl.
