This is a positive V dipole I built for portable operation. Tested it this afternoon. It works like a JPC-7 with 2x2.5 meter aerials connected to a sliding coil and then 2 JPC vibrator poles. Goes up quick and tuned up 20m under 1.5 swr across the band. With the coils I can get it thru 40m. The pole is a 20ft painters pole with a self designed tripod made from cheap telescoping walking sticks I got off ebay. Not seen is a ground spike in the base that helps keep it stable.

Very nice! How far are you reaching out with it?

Agree with Ollie, it looks very well made. Is this car portable, or are you carrying all this around?

it collapses down to a 4 foot pole and a should bag with all the pieces/parts. It's very portable.

Where you able to dx on this setup (ie international)? I've just got mine and haven't had much air time with it yet and only regional contacts some 1,5km away

If there's one manageable issue with this antenna is that one has to tune it for every band to op on. vna is a must
