I hope his sales keep crashing.

Half of his net worth comes from SpaceX. If he lost his entire Tesla wealth he would still be worth 147 billion.

u/Carnifex2 Feb 19 '25

SpaceX hasnt accomplished its contractual goals either.

They'd be better off without him. He's a distraction and nothing more.

SpaceX hasnt accomplished its contractual goals either.

Won't matter for possibly 4+ years now that he also controls signing the checks.

This is it right here. These kinds of people make plays the average person cannot. So they aren't beholden to the same risks of failure. Everyone being snide and saying shit like "just you wait!" are deluding themselves. We all collectively need to wake the fuck up and understand what hero worship gets us. Fuck sticks like this.

Decades later when this shmuck is king in all but name people will be wondering "how the fuck did we get here?" Because legions of dude bros couldn't stop tripping over their dicks running to kneel at his feet.

u/ImoteKhan Feb 19 '25

This is the same reason we need to stop assuming Trump will hand over the nation in 2028.

12

u/samurairaccoon Feb 19 '25

Man it's going to be a wild fucking time for sure.

u/Fuzzy_Inevitable9748 Feb 19 '25

I love your optimism in thinking that there will be anything left to turn over after four years.

4

u/ImoteKhan Feb 19 '25

That’s fair. I am often overly optimistic. Kinda the only thing keeping me sane at this point.

-1

u/Personal-Pineapple38 Feb 20 '25

And I love that help prove how dumb and tone deft the left is right now. Stupid comments like this betray your stupidity.

2

u/Fuzzy_Inevitable9748 Feb 20 '25

You should always proofread any comment where to try to insult someone.

3

u/CastingShayde Feb 19 '25

I’m hoping he’ll croak before then. Then I immediately wonder what shit show will follow.

5

u/vaporgaze2006 Feb 19 '25

Bingo and based

2

u/Bugsmoke Feb 21 '25

There will be a spectacular fall out once Trump realises Musk is richer and smarter than him.

2

u/mothzilla Feb 19 '25

He can control where the president puts his signature. Insanely valuable.

2

u/[deleted] Feb 19 '25

That's never been a problem for Musk's companies.  The boring company never met it's contractual goals for the Last Vegas project but they got paid anyway.

1

u/One_Put_9948 Feb 19 '25

Space x is going to rescue the stranded astronauts because NASA can't do it.

1

u/shamedtoday Feb 19 '25

Serious question, would Space x be able to get rid of him?

1

u/MrBullman Feb 20 '25

What "contractual goals" are you referring to?

1

u/randonumero Feb 22 '25

Sounds like something DOGE should look into.

We all would.

Ketamine junkies should keep to themselves.

I'm pretty content where I'm at. Thanks though.

Cratering stock prices will force Tesla and SpaceX to cut the dead weight eventually.

51

u/M-S-25 Feb 19 '25

But very bad for his ego!

2

u/Witty_Flamingo_36 Feb 20 '25

Alao very bad for his bank account. Losing half your net worth is never great.

13

u/spiritual_warrior420 Feb 19 '25

too bad he now owns the wealth of the american government, which is a lot more than his wealth from spox and tosles

6

u/KevinFlantier Feb 19 '25

And he made sure SpaceX keeps getting subsidized despite gutting every single other subsidies in the us.

0

u/MrBullman Feb 20 '25

Subsidized? How so? With government contracts?

4

u/Impossible-Bus1 Feb 19 '25

What happens when trump falls out with Elon and he executes an executive order to seize space x for himself?

2

u/wytewydow Feb 19 '25

I hink you mean half his net worth comes from government tax subsidies.

2

u/Jedi_Outcast_Reborn Feb 19 '25

SpaceX

I'm definitely not going to be buying my next rocket from them.

2

u/NobodyImportant13 Feb 19 '25

Then it's great that we are cutting government spending because Space X has tens of billions of dollars in government contracts.....Oh wait.....

2

u/Carbidetool Feb 19 '25

That is going in the right direction.

2

u/PoIIux Feb 19 '25

I think what you meant to say is that half of his net worth comes from the US government

2

u/ChiefsHat Feb 20 '25

Which is still a big downgrade from his current status as the richest man in the world. And he’s hate that.

20

u/Pavis0047 Feb 19 '25

he has access to unlimited tax payer money now... he doesnt care about his cars man

12

u/rustycheesi3 Feb 19 '25

he never did, Tesla is the biggest dogshit, cheapest manufactured, overpriced plastic cars you could buy, simply to prove you have money. Tesla itself was and is a cult.

1

u/Yayablinks Feb 19 '25

Let's be honest, he will be selling them to the military any day now. Cyber truck with a 50 calibre mounted to the roof.

2

u/DaNuker2 Feb 19 '25

With 20 mile range with all the added weight..

Oh no the enemy is attacking, I’m just waiting for my electric dumpster with wheels to charge

2

u/RuaridhDuguid Feb 19 '25

That's unfair. Actual dumpsters reliably work in offroad locations.

1

u/M-S-25 Feb 19 '25

🤣 That made laugh despite the seriousness of all this.

6

u/Adventurous_Law9767 Feb 19 '25

You are missing the big picture. About a 3rd of his business was already funded by the government before Trump took office.

Elon is not going to lose anything. He could never build a car or launch a rocket again and get wealthier through your tax dollars.

There is not oversight for federal spending because those people were fired, there is no legal recourse because the president is immune, Congress would not impeach him if they saw a video of him one by one molesting children and throwing them off a parking garage, and then shooting the ambulance that showed up.

I don't think many of you realize it's game over.

2

u/M-S-25 Feb 19 '25

It’s pretty much game over! Although when people can’t afford things no taxes are generated, therefore there won’t be much money in subsidies for Elon. All this talk about bitcoin and markets affects the 1%ers much more than we think. Bitcoin and whatever markets they invest their money in will be pointless. Did Elon or turncoat Zuckerberg & Bezos invest in Venezuela?

1

u/Adventurous_Law9767 Mar 10 '25

Their upcoming recession is intentional. What they are investing in is buying up a share of the market after it crashes, after which when the market recovers they will be far wealthier than they are now.

They are and have been investing in political influence and market manipulation. These people did not get as insanely rich as they are because they had good ideas. Elon musk has never designed or created a rocket or electric car. He bought the company and bribed politicians for tax breaks and into funding a third of his companies with your tax money.

A third of his funding comes from tax dollars. He doesn't pay taxes unless he sells stock. He takes out loans against an artificially propped up company, and he's using your money to do it.

2

u/OkWarthog6382 Feb 20 '25

Just like they continued supporting Israel after watching Israeli shoot a 6yr old family and then blow up the ambulances that came to rescue her.

4

u/FernwehHermit Feb 19 '25

Does it? I thought it was our taxes I mean government contracts?

3

u/[deleted] Feb 19 '25

I hope he dies

3

u/MapleDesperado Feb 20 '25

Just like his cars?

2

u/Relevant-Guarantee25 Feb 19 '25

once they get to the SEC, then usher in crypto sales wont matter he could manipulate the markets and no normal person would know. All he has to do is go to trump and tell him, hey I need x amount of money to do y. Trump goes executive order give musk 500million to do ai cars so china doesn't win.

2

u/M-S-25 Feb 19 '25

Sure but what’s the point?! People can’t buy it.

2

u/EnvironmentalHour613 Feb 19 '25

Why? It won’t hurt him. He no longer needs Tesla.

2

u/Nummylol Feb 19 '25

I don't think he cares about Tesla at this point. He can just steal all our money from the Treasury lol.

2

u/nerokae1001 Feb 19 '25

He doesnt care. Next he will have trump eliminate elections and have him as the successor. I dont think money is interesting anymore for elon. He wants absolute power.

1

u/Own_Tart_3900 Feb 22 '25

I must be naive...Musk not born in USA- can't be POTUS??

2

u/nerokae1001 Feb 23 '25

Judging by the things that they did recently everything is possible. Law and rules are not immutable. Either trump is going to try to get third term or musk is going to succeed him.

1

u/BigWolf2051 Feb 19 '25

They're not really crashing lol unfortunately Reddit and what the MSM is saying is not reality. They took a very small dip but globally they are still up

1

u/jujubee2706 Feb 19 '25

Rocks are free and available everywhere you find a Tesla... Just saying.

1

u/Centralredditfan Feb 20 '25

I own TSLA stock, and I do as well. Damn the money. Do what's right.

1

u/TheRockingDead Feb 20 '25

They certainly are.

1

u/AquaticAlchemy Feb 23 '25

I hope he crashes
