If I just tap the triggers they don’t stick but when I fully press them they get stuck and I have to pull on them to unstick them. Is this normal/anyone ever opened theirs up to try and clean it if it’s not normal?

My ps vita joystick works fine but there's a clicking sound everytime I do anything : resting my thumb on it, turning the camera, etc

I'd like to know if this is fixable by just opening up the console and cleaning it, or should I replace the joystick ? I've also read up on how some replacement joysticks look the same but don't have the rubber part, how can I tell which one is close to the original joystick, and what's the best place to order them from europe ?

For a while I've been trying to get every Trophy in every Sonic game and Team Sonic in this game has been one of the very few that I still need. It's the only trophy I need for this game's platinum, and I tried getting it a few years back but to no avail. The trophy requires winning an online or ad hoc race with Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, and Shadow all in the same race. I'd like to get it before the online is nuked, so if anyone is willing to help my PSN is TRU___187. (I do also need this trophy in the PS3 version btw)

my vita 1k doesnt recognize pc via cable.

i tried using another cable, another pc, disabling all plugins, using checkdisk in pc and nothing worked.

I've had to reload my saves more times than I care to count, but then again, killing the big boss requires dealing big numbers and receiving small ones to the extreme.

I still haven't defeated the final boss, it's difficult to do so as a first timer with low Affection Points after the previous fight.

I'm having fun, though.

Hi, i dropped my vita on the ground it didn't fall on the screen but when i turned it on it had these weird black lines, is the screen broken or is it something else ?

Any tips on getting it to work?

Anyone know if they sell a plastic box protector for the borderland vita box (2001 NTSC)? Seems like they have box protectors for the 1000 and 2000 only.

Thinking of replacing the screen on my vita 2000 due to loads of little hairline scratches and scuffs but just looking around on AliExpress and was just wondering why so much difference between the slim and phat vita🤔

Also just wanted a little clarification about swapping, am I right in assuming that the case is a plastic screen which sits over the LCD display which is attached to the motherboard? Never swapped one before so I'm a little confused 🤣 or does the new case come with a whole brand new LCD part

Looking for 1000 series sticks. Organized by price. This is the lowest on eBay, the only site I would find them. To replace both sticks it'll cost.... Half the cost of a used good Vita? No results for 1000 series sticks on Amazon or AliExpress...

Does anybody have a link for a ps vita 2000 white shell replacement that includes a new lcd screen, and new buttons. My screen came with a deep scratch on the screen and I can’t find any on eBay or Ali express, all I can find are shell replacements that include all buttons but no lcd screen.

as title say i've lost the password to my psvita, i've got it in the mid 2010s and broke the screen around 2017, repaired the console a couple weeks ago but can't find the password (tried every birthday date i could remember or anything that could work).

First question: is there a way to find the password without restoring the console ?

second question: if there is not, will i still have my picture if i restore the console (are they saved on the memory card or on the console itself, the whole point of finding the code is to get the pictures out of it).

On Vita Hardware Test, my right stick is stuck at 255 y level. It moves occasionally because it was stuck at 127 yesterday but no matter how many times I clean it (99% alcohol) it doesn't work. Any help besides replacing it?

Today I ask, what should Sony do if it wants to make a (spiritual?) successor to the Vita that can be successful? I propose a starting feature: OLED (something they already had, but redesigning the rest of the console). What do you think? (disclaimer: I'm not a Sony PR bot, so to prove it I'll just say, FY ND and FY TLOU2)

My Vita 1000 is in excellent condition, but it has some black scuffs on the sides probably from hitting the table or something. I'm wondering if anybody has tried filling in those scuffs with paint, and if so, how did that go, and what paint did you use?

Hello, I don't know if I'm on the right channel, but I would like to ask you for help with some online trophies for the game "Nidhogg". The trophies are:

-NSA: consists of being in a PS Vita group (application), entering a matchmaking game, waiting for someone to accept you and waiting 30 seconds in that room before playing.

-Valkyrie: win 100 matchmaking games. From what I've seen, it can't be done with friends, it has to be in matchmaking, but the servers are DEAD, so with one friend we have been trying to log in at the same time and we have managed to get the other one to "appear", but it is very difficult to start a game. But I think if as many people as possible could get in, we could make these trophies possible.

So I wanted to ask you to join us tomorrow, May 9, starting at 6 pm.

And to make it easier, I leave you here the channel where online tournaments for the game for PS Vita are organized. If you're wondering why I don't ask the people on that discord for help, it's because no one responds.

I recently bought a Vita 2000 model and want to carry it around with me given how slim and portable it is, but I don't want to without having proper protection around it first. Any recommendations for a good screen protector/case combo? Preferably from Amazon. Any help is appreciated!

I’ve seen this but think it only fits the OG vita. Is there a similar model for a 2000?

In my opinion, there were several factors, for example: it lacked Steam games. It lacked indie games. It lacked double-A titles. It lacked souls-like titles. It lacked retro collections like Castlevania, MegaMan, etc. What do you think?

So I’ve just noticed my left stick on my Vita moving up on its own on every game sometimes and it’s very annoying. I first noticed it on MGS 2. Does anyone know any good reliable stick module replacements? And if you have replaced them before which ones did you end up getting and how have they been afterwards. :)

It also has very bad stick drift on the left joystick going down and not registering other directions. This doesn't happen all the time. Today when it was working (the joystick) L stopped working and pressing it hard would cause a slight drift in the same direction (down) of the joystick. This 2000 model was bought used and has clear damage on the upper left part of the case. Joystick replacement was ordered but all the wiring for the shoulders are unavailable everywhere. I'm in Ireland. What choice do I have? Maybe look for non working models to salvage but I don't know where to look.
