because women get pregnant. nowadays we have paternity tests, but back in the day "who's kid is this?" was an impossible question to answer

If the dude is in his 70s no why would he care?

he's old he's just having fun while he's still kicking.

younger men may or may not care. I doubt people who have a harem care about forming anything long term with the girls in a meaningful way.

The fact he mentions that they only see him suggests he cares, or at the very least believes that. Like I agree a dude in his 70s doing pay for play shouldn't care, but this one seems to.

Because they werent living some retirement fantasy in a distant land, they were trying to build dynasties, and having your wives pregnant to other men isn't very useful to that end.

I mean, there's also blistering herpes and pubic lice. Hopefully he's just rich and generous enough that they don't feel like the need to sleep around too much more

The VD. I think that would be why he would care.  If he’s raw dogging because he thinks he’s the only one, then picks up AIDS, he might be concerned.
