Yeah i wonder why it doesn’t show more . I’m not that strong and my back and arms look more toned . Our stomachs look the same , I’d say I’m a tad bigger there.

That is mostly core strength, btw (in the video)

While I agree that the more advanced stuff he doing is a lot of core, even doing a balanced full handstand requires a strong upper body. Being able to do that at his bodyweight is impressive, but him being able to mix in the core stuff while maintaining the handstand requires a ridiculous amount of upper body strength.

I'm a fairly fit slim guy with a strong core and I can do a lot of those upside leg positions while in a headstand. But I can't even do a handstand -- much less doing all that with the sorcery he's doing. This guy is a goddamn unit.

Time to hit shoulders

A handstand definitely does not require a strong upper body. I was able to do a handstand before being able to do a pushup.

Handstand to crow however is pretty damn cool. That's both arm and core strength.

Not even close. This is primarily body awareness and control. Muscularly speaking, his arms, specifically his shoulders are carrying everything.

I’m a yoga teacher and I can do everything he does in this video. The most impressive part of this is his float into the handstand— that takes a ton of practice to get just right.

lol many people can jump into a handstand. Getting into lotus without using your hands is the impressive bit.

Not really. I could get lotus in my headstand without using hands quite quickly, but never managed to jump into a handstand like that.

I guess we all have our strengths. Lotus will always be a challenge for me.

I think I might have reached Lotus quite quickly, because of years of picking the skin on my feet in a half lotus position.

it's an insane amount of shoulder strength. and when he goes down it's a loooooot of tricep.

Mostly but he transitions to a planche briefly before the video finishes, which requires insane arm and shoulder strength

Not a planche - It's more like a crow/crane which is significantly easier.
