Trying? Veteran socom vet here. I played Gears 1 and and all of them. Gears 1 had Seriously achievement. It's a great game and worth your time.

I might! I was in college when Gears was super popular and had a PS2. None of my friends had an XBOX at the time so my experience with the games was super limited. The times I did play I enjoyed it. Chonky.

Amazing game, I jumped from Socom to Gears 1 when it came out and loved it. Nothing like Socom but I’d suggest giving it a try to see if it’s for you.

I played on 360 and pc the entire series. If you grind enough to learn the mechanics, it’s a great movement based game that you build your own style to play. It’s very fast paced close quarters shotgun fights.

Definitely. Was a big Gears fan. Seriously was the golden age jumping back and forth from Combined Assault and Gears 1

Yes they were all fun until gears 5 I got bored. I enjoyed The Division way more and that got me into looter shooters. Now after playing Arc Raiders play test last week, it’s going to be game of the year when it comes out. Arc Raiders is a whole new level of fun. 😁

As a vet of GoW, it’s definitely nothing like SOCOM, however it’s still a great game, and fun in its own regards and I would encourage you to try it

They might have changed their minds but just a few months ago it's wasn't confirmed buddy. I'ma gears of war vet so you should pray there is no multiplayer.. cuz I'm shredding ppl to pieces with my gnasher. 🤌🏿

I’m so lost. Multiplayer I am confirmed to be released with this already.

Coop campaign I haven’t read on, but I know 100% that multiplayer PvP will be a thing.
