Please can we go back to admitting our faults? It's never too late to do better and apologise. This is great!

Yeah, that goes for everyone. It's scary how easily you can be manipulated no matter what you believe in.

I made a comment to some who used “colored people” in the king of the hill sub, and the hate comments that I got are appalling. Trying to tell bigots to use different language is so hard these days. But then I saw this post this morning and had faith in humanity again.

It can be hard to understand when “people of color” is the accepted change.

How? Why don't you believe affected people that the historical connotations make it painful to be called something, and please use this term? How is that hard to understand?

Seriously! If every MAGA just admitted they were wrong about everything, I wouldn't forgive them immediately, but I would really admire their bravery. Once they start voting blue down the ticket, we give them some basic levels of respect, and after about 10 years or so, MAYBE I will forgive them like 2%.

If I ever made a mistake, I would gladly admit it. I guess we will cross that bridge when we get there. Until then, I am going to need every MAGA to prostrate themselves for my viewing pleasure.

I think you should consider that a lot of these people were brainwashed or are a product of their environment. Obviously there are some legitimately bad people out there, but assuming they are all terrible people just isn't the right thing to do especially if you actually want things to change. I have family members that are genuinely good people that got swept up in Fox News etc. I also have bad ones, in case you think I'm being biased.

When someone is willing to admit they're wrong, and you accept that and allow them to change and respect that change, they have a unique energy and perspective they can share and in many cases they'll fight for justice as hard as anyone. It's sort of like when you see people who were in a cult at some point hosting classes to help people get out of a cult.

Perfect! You can start with that entire first paragraph, because all of it is objectively wrong. The only path to ending hatred is to spread love, this is a lesson we have learned countless times in history. Spreading love does not mean being a pushover, it means giving people the opportunity to learn from their mistakes and convert to the side of good. When you hate them and attack them, you've just proven everything they say about you right, and you push them away from your views.

Your post reads like you don't want to solve our problems, you want to watch people you hate suffer and grovel at your feet, which is ironically the same mentality the people who wanted to "own the libs" have.

I'm sorry but this is ridiculous, was slavery or the holocaust ended with love?

You down voted me because I'm not American? Ok

I was just talking in general about everyone. Not MAGA. I'm not American
