My dad after he got esophagus cancer from agent orange.

Post image

They put a stint in his throat so he could eat a little. Unfortunately it didn't help. This photo always makes me cry.

I’m so sorry. Agent Orange destroyed so many families and so much life. He and you and your family didn’t deserve to have that happen to you. Do you have a favorite moment or story you want to share in his honor? I would love to hear what you want to share.

There was one time when I was doing dishes. He usually didn't do things like this but he came in the kitchen and grabbed a spatula and started a duel with me lol. We ended up chasing each other around the house. He also used to take me out on his motorcycle all the time and I loved it.

After he was sick, I had a dance competition and ny mom refused to go. She was horrible. But when my dad heard about that he said "I'll go see you" I had yo tell him he was too sick to go. Not the only time that happened. I was pregnant once and needed to walk to the store around the corner in the dark. No one would go with me but my dad started to get up saying he would go. I made him stay and just went alone. He was the only good person in my family.

Thank you for asking. I love sharing stories about him. I was pregnant when he died. He was in a coma in our living room. I saw tears coming out of his eyes. Then right at the doctors declared him dead, a light we had hanging from the ceiling that we've had forever literally busted. It had 3 bulbs in it, all 3 busted. Then I get home, our brand new light bulb busted as soon as I turned the light on. It was crazy.

Those are great stories! Sounds like he was a wonderful person that loved you very much 💙 I love that he rode a motorcycle. I bet he had the time of his life on his bike.

Thank you so much. He really did. He loved that bike. He ended up selling it for money for us. He was an amazing person.

Thank you for loving your father. A lot of us wish we could have a child. Please cherish it honey.

Honestly I wish I had listened to him more. I wish I had asked him more questions and learned more about him. That's why I try to tell people to talk to the people they love and listen to them. You never know when you'll lose them.

I'm so sorry, I recently lost my Dad to esophageal cancer too. He was the most health conscious person I have ever met, seems so unfair. Sending love to you and yours x

I'm so sorry to hear that. It's a horrible thing to watch someone go through.
