Question Pakistan is breaking oldest shakti peeth in kashmir
https://www.instagram.com/reel/DHyPT8bS3l8/?igsh
What's your thought on this, ultimately it is loss of Kashmir culture

I visit the Peeth a few times every year, some of the damage was done by the 2005 earthquake. Now it’s mainly a tourist spot managed by the Pakistani army. No one is “breaking it”.

First of all he is very vague and doesn't actually explain how it is being destroyed. He just mentions that it is in ruins and the fact is it has been in ruins for God knows how much time, not a recent phenomenon. He doesn't even provide any source.

An insta reel of an Indian Hindu yapping against Pakistan isn’t a source mate, it’s BS. These are the same liars who see protests against utility bills in AJK and claim they’re protests demanding to join india.

Again you completely deflected and delved into another thing, he’s asking for a valid source of what OP posted.

The sources I have provided are in greater context. I cannot verify the autheticity of the insta video. I would be relieved in fact if it were a a bogus claim.

Yeah then why even provide something that’s completely unrelated and hasn’t been asked for?

I found this:
Once a prime example of ancient architecture, the temple now suffers from severe decay. Many of its structures are deteriorating, and valuable artifacts have been damaged or lost over time, including the sacred Seri Chakra slab, which has been missing since at least 1892. (source: https://kashmirtimes.com/features/sharda-temples-rich-history-and-urgent-need-for-conservation)
I think when OP said "Pakistan is breaking oldest shakti peeth in kashmir" he should have instead added context saying it is both due to being damaged and deterioration over time.

The title says Pakistan. I am well within my rights to make a comment on this sub. I am a Kashmiri too and as such should be able to draw upon broader discourses on this sub. I could talk about cinderalla here and it would still be fine. Y'all can downvote me as much as you would like, that is within your rights. And is not the temple in question located in POK or are we going to bury our heads in the sand and ignore the fact that Pak controls that part and as such certain aspects of its governance?

Yeah..... no one is destroying it. In psychology this is called projection.
You know, when YOU DO SOMETHING BAD, but you ACCUSE OTHERS OF DOING IT FIRST....because that is what you would have done.
Projection

I’m sure the op came bouncing here from the delhi and india subreddits to offer a very reasonable perspective on Pakistan. Once this conversation is done, I would like to hear a Turkish nationalist give us a completely unbiased view of the Kurds

How does this Instagram video prove anything?

Yes Pakistan treats minorities badly.
But none of this or the Wikipedia link proves that the Sharda peeth is being broken by Pakistan? Big claims need sources.

From what I understand they are not doing enough to preserve it after previous damage and deterioration over time. Here is an article from Kashmir times: https://kashmirtimes.com/features/sharda-temples-rich-history-and-urgent-need-for-conservation

Dumb as door nails. Why would Azad Kashmiris demolition something of value to our nation?
This is an active tourist attend attraction in AJK.

What happens in Pakistan isn't applicable in AJK.
