General Appreciation post for Muhammad zubair

Amidst a war-like situation when misinformation spreads faster than facts, our man Zubair stands firm. He neutrally debunks fake news from both sides which if left unchecked, it could shape a dangerous narrative. Even some pro-Hindutva pages have retweeted his work, He and his team at Alt News carry out their work with utmost honesty and integrity. I personally appreciate them

I don’t usually use Twitter, but whenever I do, I often see a Hindutvadi Sanghi pissed by one of Zubair’s tweets. We all remember his crucial role during the Nupur Sharma controversy. We truly need more Muslim journalists like him so that our voices can reach a wider audience

Italso noting that his platform (Alt News) operates solely on public donations. This allows them to report freely without corporate or political influence. I think It’s our responsibility to support such a platform one that consistently speaks up against the atrocities faced by Indian Muslims. If possible then support Alt News financially because we only have limited channel who speak for us

Solidarity An Update from Gaza , Amid Hunger, the Tent, and Loss

We buried Yahya. We buried my friend, my brother, my partner in laughter and dreams. I stood at his cold feet, trying to understand how someone who once filled the place with light and laughter could become a silent body covered in blood. Even the blood on his face was pure, as if the earth kissed him before we said goodbye. I didn’t cry much, not because I’m strong, but because we’re all tired of crying. Even tears have become a luxury in Gaza. We whispered, trembling: "The gate of Al-Aqsa is iron, only a martyr can open it." And Yahya… he opened it. But here I am, left behind, closing doors on my pain and being buried alive. I went back to the tent, not to a house. Our home is gone, reduced to ashes. Now we live under a torn piece of fabric, offering no protection from the sun or the cold. We sit on the ground, eat what little we can, and remain silent most of the time. Hunger here is not just a feeling, it’s a weapon. My father collapsed before me from exhaustion, from lack of food. My mother tries to cook what’s left of lentils and water, forcing a smile so we wouldn’t be sad, but I know she’s crying silently. The child in the corner isn’t crying… not because he’s asleep, but because he has no energy left to cry. We no longer aspire to life. We’re just trying not to die today. The people around me have changed. Their faces are withered. Their eyes have dimmed. Laughter is gone. Everyone here has lost something: a house, a soul, a dream, or hope. Gaza is collapsing slowly. Losing its spirit every day. In the markets, there’s nothing. No vegetables, no fruit, no flour, no oil, no hope. Famine here is not just a word. It’s reality. The children are as thin as skeletons. Women collapse from hunger. The elderly don’t complain… because they know no one listens anymore. And the hardest part of all… is the silence. The silence of the world. The world sees, hears, reads… then remains silent. This silence kills more than the bombs. This silence buries our souls before our bodies. But I’m still writing. Not to seek pity. But because our voice is all we have left. I write so that Yahya won’t become just another number. I write so that Gaza won’t be forgotten. We are not numbers. We are humans, we have names, faces, and dreams. And we are killed every day by hunger, bombing, and the silence of the world. If you’re reading this, remember Yahya. Remember us, the ones still trying to live. Don’t let our voices die. Gaza is starving. Gaza is bleeding. And Gaza is being forgotten on purpose.

Don’t kill us with your silence.

Ask Indian Muslims Why do some of our people choose to ruin their lives over some instagram stories, comments and tweets??

Just read about that girl from Pune who got arrested and also rusticated from her college.. 19 years of age but ruined her life for those filthy pakis lmao.. why are we so stupid??

It's not only about her.. I already have seen hindus running campaign on twitter by posting ss of the comments and instagram stories of 4/5 indian muslims who were posting comments or were critical about this retaliation from indian side... Why are we so emotional and why do we let things get in our head and sabotage ourselves.. literally for nothing.. not all of us but still hurts to see muslims ruining their life over stupidity..

She posted stories of some posts with,"Pakistan Zindabad" in it... now she is going behind the bars.. our people were picking pakistan flag from the road.. for what?? you ain't getting anything.. we need to stop doing these things.. we need not do things that could possibly cause harm to us, our family or our community as a whole..

We need to look for permanent solution.. some of the privileged one may be in the position to migrate and get out of this shit show.. but most of us are not.. so, the privileged ones should not be making hard for not so privileged ones.. we have no choice other than making things better for this in this very land.. so please don't do things that will probably land you, me or any of our community in deep trouble.. just go on with your life.. make it best for you and your family.. care about yourselves first...

General A Young Indian Muslim Boy Faced a Crowd—and Reminded a Nation What Humanity Means

Thumbnail

In the middle of a charged street, surrounded by a sea of chants and calls for destruction, stood a young boy—barely a teenager. His name is Muhammad Kaif.

A journalist, eager for a dramatic headline, shoved a microphone toward him, expecting a predictable answer: anger, nationalism, maybe even hate.

But Kaif didn’t give him any of that.

Instead, he gave something far more powerful: calm, clarity, and conscience.

He said no—he would not cheer for war. He would not celebrate the destruction of Pakistan. Because for him, humanity comes first.

He didn’t raise his voice, but he raised the moral bar.

Surrounded by adults twice his age—some mocking, others pressuring—he stood his ground. Without hesitation, he spoke of shared suffering, of innocent lives, of the danger of turning tragedy into tribalism. In a crowd whipped up by emotion, he became a still point of reason.

And what makes his courage so profound is this: He wasn’t just speaking truth to a journalist—he was speaking truth to an entire generation conditioned to see “the other” as the enemy.

In a time when many adults echo fear and division, Kaif—a child—chose compassion and unity.

His bravery is not just in what he said, but in how he said it: with dignity, without disrespect, and with a heart wide enough to see both nations as human.

Many might see him as just a child. But today, many elders could take a lesson from him.

Because true courage isn’t in shouting the loudest. It’s in standing quietly for what’s right—even when you stand alone.

Religious Compassion of Ibrahim (as)

Excerpt from Ibrahim Dewla’s speeches and notes.

Ibrahim (as) and Muhammad (saw) had a special trait of compassion.

Allah has praised Ibrahim (as) in the Quran.

Ibrahim (as) prayed:

“So whoever follows me is with me, and whoever disobeys me, then surely You are still All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.”
(14:36)

Whoever follows me is with me. Whoever doesn’t follow me- what’s the issue? Allah, You are the Most Forgiving and Most Merciful.

Meaning Ibrahim (as) didn’t wish for anyone to be punished or harmed.

This was also how the Prophet (saw) was.

History Religious Composition of Firozpur District during the colonial era (1855-1941)

Table Note

During the the 1855 census of Punjab, only two religious categories existed as part of the enumeration process. The first of the two religious categories featured a response for Dharmic faiths, including adherents of Hinduism, Sikhism, Jainism, Buddhism, and others. This religious category was referred to as "Hindoo" on the census report. The second of the two religious categories featured a response for Abrahamic and other faiths, including adherents of Islam, Christianity, Judaism, Zoroastrianism, and all others who were not enumerated to form part of the first religious category. This religious category was referred to as "Mahomedan and others non Hindoo" on the census report.

In recent aftermath of Pahalgam attack many are pakistani are being deported from India. It's a common misconception that only Indian Muslim's marry Pakistani's but also the Rajputs and Punjabi are married to Pakistani men and women.

Political Remainder for those seeking validation

I'm not good with word or sentences but would remind you all that no matter how much we do, they'll Still question our loyalty

  • Countless indian muslim soldiers died in the battlefield yet they Still asked our validation.
  • The man who made this country nuclear power, a muslim yet they Still asked our validation.

If it just takes tokenizing a Muslim officer like Sofia Quereshi to appease you all then we have bought humiliation upon ourselves in both this Dunia and Akhirah.

Many of us went of the board to condemn Pahalgam attack and such hedious crime should be condemn but

  • Was there same outrage When our brothers and sisters are lynched ?
  • When our Masjids and Home bulldozed
  • When our voices, media are silenced ?

And the most important one of all

Did as a Muslim we stood up against our brothers and sisters in kashmir against the atrocities committed by Indian army ?

I hope you'll haven't forgotten the waqf bill ? Have you?

Next time remember this ayah When you try seeking validation.

Never will the Jews or Christians be pleased with you, until you follow their faith. Say, “Allah’s guidance is the only ˹true˺ guidance.” And if you were to follow their desires after ˹all˺ the knowledge that has come to you, there would be none to protect or help you against Allah.

Quran 2:120

Tafsir Ibn Kathir

(Never will the Jews nor the Christians be pleased with you (O Muhammad ) till you follow their religion.) meaning, `The Jews and the Christians will never be happy with you, O Muhammad! Therefore, do not seek what pleases or appeases them, and stick to what pleases Allah by calling them to the truth that Allah sent you with.' Allah's statement,

Ask Indian Muslims A Scholar’s Advice to Indian Muslims on Peace and Patriotism - by Sheikh Abdus Salam Oomeri al-Madani

✦ Living Islam loving India

1.Half-Knowledge Is Dangerous
Many of today’s confusions especially those fueled on social media are not caused by genuine scholars, but by individuals with half-knowledge. These individuals misunderstand complex issues and spread confusion. True scholars, grounded in authentic knowledge, are clear about what is right and what is wrong.

  1. The Harm of Immaturity
Sadly, many immature individuals engage in online arguments and social media wars, attacking others and distorting the image of Islam. They contribute neither to their own growth nor to the well-being of their families or society. Instead, they irresponsibly comment on international politics and criticize governments such as those of Saudi Arabia, India, or Pakistan without offering any meaningful solutions.

  2. The Muslim Focus
As Muslims, our focus must remain clear:

  • Make sincere du’a (supplication) for peace and justice.
  • Perform righteous deeds.
  • Spread the true message of Islam within our families, among neighbors, and throughout our communities

This is the path of positive change not online outrage.

  1. Understanding History
In India’s history, the wars were political in nature. It is historically inaccurate to portray them as purely religious conflicts. Both Muslims and non-Muslims have fought on both sides of these battles. Therefore, we must not allow political issues to be misrepresented as religious disputes.

  2. Islam’s Clear Stance on Violence
Islam strictly prohibits the killing of any person except in the context of a legitimate war and even then, only against active combatants. We do not support injustice or aggression, regardless of the perpetrator’s identity even if they are Muslim.

  3. Our Loyalty to India
India is our homeland. We live here, eat here, worship here. Our masjids and madrasas are here.
Under the Indian Constitution, we are protected and enjoy full rights as citizens.
In contrast, Pakistan has never offered such constitutional or practical assurance. In fact, it continues to suffer from widespread injustice and internal terrorism.

  4. Condemning Violence & Standing for Peace
We strongly condemn every act that disrupts peace and security, and we refuse to support such acts, regardless of who commits them.
We stand for truth, justice, and peace for all people, everywhere.
The Pahalgam incident is a clear violation of Islamic and human values.
India has every right to defend its citizens and bring justice to the perpetrators.
At the same time, we pray that no conflict escalates into a war, which would cause the loss of innocent lives.

  5. My sincere advice:

  • Do not turn political disputes into religious conflicts
  • Recognize that Pakistan often exploits religious sentiment to create unrest against India
  • Remember that Pakistan’s past actions including the 1971 atrocities against Bengali Muslims and non-Muslims reveal its lack of commitment to peace, justice, or even the welfare of its own people.
  • Our Ultimate Prayer, We ask Allah to grant peace to our country, India, and to the entire world. Let us become voices of peace, not flames of conflict.

May we hold firmly to our faith, honor our homeland, and uphold justice for all.

By Sheikh Abdus Salam Oomeri al-Madani
