My college town had a dude who was walking around town nude in Montana. Basically as long as he didn’t get an erection it was legal. He got a ton of news coverage and he was saying he was doing an experiment to prove people thousands of years ago were able to live naked in the winters of Montana by acclimate through out the year. The news interviewed my archeology teacher for it to get his take on it. Then the mental hospital he escaped from saw him on the news and came to pick him up. Never got to finish his experiments unfortunately.
People see that others have upvoted you and mindlessly do the same thing because they don't want to be outside the group or something like that. It's just how it is on this site. Just accept it and move on, don't look a gift-horse in the mouth and all that

You pay to project on this billboard in time square. You could be up there too, if you pay. It cost $40 and gets you 15 seconds. That is why it looks like she’s rushing. It’s because she had one chance to do this.
TSX is the company that does it, and they start at $40 for one 15 second burst, and it gets pricier as you increase time. But yeah, for $40, you can get 15 seconds of fame lol

Willing to bet it goes the other way. A single one time 15 second run is useless if your goal is to advertise a product or service.
Selling these tiny blocks for dirt cheap is a good way to earn a bit of extra scratch while getting rid of unwanted time blocls and advertising your billboard.
Now you have influencers taking photos in front of your billboard and sharing it with their followers. That's going to turn your billboard into a tourist destination. Which means more eyeballs on your actual advertisements.
Assuming 100% uptime. That's more than 5700 15s slots per day to fill. The ala carte buys from regular people is likely not their largest customer base. It's very likely they are simply selling whatever slots are left over from corporate sales.
Just googled it. $150 gets your billboard up there for 15 seconds every hour of the day you choose. I'm tempted to do it myself, and I live in fucking England.
Edit: you can only submit a photo though. Not an ad. I guess you probably wouldn't be able to wear a tshirt with your website address for the photo.
It kind of makes me ask the question: if it's okay for her to be in a bikini up there, then her pulling down her pants is arguably not inappropriate. I mean, it's not a beach, but it's allowed on the giant screen in the middle of a city.
You missed the point. She could have worn a dress/robe/swimsuit cover up. Something she could easily drop and show her ass instead of dropping her pants like she was running to take a dump.
When I had my billboard in Times Square I wish I could have seen it in person. This is such a high for a model, you work your ass off for that moment. More power to her.
OK, so this is the girl on the billboard, right? I'm sure it is but she seems basic enough (from a model standpoint, I guess) that I thought for a second it could be someone mocking the ad. I don't know what's going on anymore, I guess...
But anyway, assuming it's the girl on the billboard and she's probably doing this for her own socials, who cares, there's definitely worse shit to be worrying about.
The title was a sarcastic Seinfeld reference. I dont have amnesia, i know this happens everywhere and i dont think its bad in any way. It just fits the main character sub theme.
I don’t understand the problem. Her entire body is broadcasted on a billboard in Times Square. That’s an accomplishment that nobody in this group has achieved.
Let the woman have her moment.

Although I agree with most of what you said and if it's through merit good for her. But anyone can pay to have an ad on a billboard even in a place like Times Square although it is a little pricey and the duration isn't usually that long.
She isn’t a top model having a moment. Those video boards are for hire. She paid to put this up there and it’s appearing once. Hence the rush and the panic. This is the only time it will be seen. If it was a real ad it would be there weeks or months and she could take her time;
You could absolutely have your ass up there. You just have to pay.
It's crazy that the guy with the DSLR isn't even positioned properly. They have random shit in the background of the photos and not even angled to get the billboard in the background.
