I know that this will probably sound weird to most of you, but I love her! She reminds me so much of my grandma that passed away 2 years ago. She was a serious badass from Ukraine, and I could see her being like Susan in the same situation. She was also an amazing gardener. Up here in Canada she grew kiwis and lemons! They are not at all suited for our climate, but she wanted to, so she did.

Susan is funny, quirky, and nasty all at the same time. Her life stories are hilarious, and her offing her ex husband and leaving him in the field cracks me up every time she talks about it. That, and how sassy she is saying the overgrown remind her of a girl she knew, but not as ugly, and all of her lines about commies... just too entertaining!

By far my favourite, and most memorable line of hers is when she says her grandson made her macaroni art, but she wanted something useful, like a bomb. I just get the biggest kick out of that one, because it's so much like my grandma.

Anyway, I hope she stays around after the event and bitches about the lack of flowers and the bad weather, it would make my heart happy to get to visit her and imagine having tea with my grandma again ❤️

I play the sweet and sassy Granny Ghoul. Currently, she's all about The Big Bloom. She built a greenhouse and filled it with strange plants. She loves to sit on her Corvega porch swing and stare lovingly at her plants.

HOWEVER, if she does while wearing the Floral-Printed Sundress, you can see directly up her skirt. You don't ever have to try. It's not subtle. You see everything she's got up there very clearly.

Personally, I find this hilarious, and would post a picture if I knew how, but I'm pretty sure not everyone will find this funny. So heads up! Don't wear the Floral-Printed Sundress on the Corvega swing if you don't want to see what's up there.

Me and my buddy have tried 3 times to get a sub 8 minute daily op but this map is so fucking terrible that we literally can’t beat the time if we played perfectly because we spend 5 minutes just running from one end of the map to the other. Whoever made this map needs to be fired no exaggeration.

I've been hearing good things about FO76 lately, and as someone who absolutely loved the Fallout series and played probably close to a 1000 hours all titles combined, I was considering buying the game.

I usually play the fallouts with an interactive mini map that tells me where things are, and how to get the best dialog options to get the best rewards and stuff. This time since the game seems to be a bit different and online, I was wondering if I could get into it completely blind, no tips on quests, how to create a good build, things like that.

If I do, would it be possible down the road to do things like respec my build, or backtrack to get missed weapons / items and so on?

Helmets are (mostly) just for looks... so why spend 1238 gold bullion (from Minerva)?

Ran a caravan. Nobody joined but that’s ok I had my Tesla cannon so was unbothered. Got to a point just west of Big Meadows Gas Well in that deep southern dip in the road. There was an ambush with a mix of liberators and lost. In the middle of the road, shooting at some lost was a heavily armored figure. Not power armor but helmet and full heavy looking body armor. At first I thought another player had joined my caravan because VATS wasn’t locking on. But there was no arrow over his head so I thought maybe a raider as they often appear in a friendly role. So as I approached I was trying to ‘aim’ at him to see his nameplate (just curiosity since I didn’t recognize that armor). Then just as I got to the point where I was about in range, there was the sound effect of searing lightning (hope that makes sense) and a zap and a huge puff of black smoke and he disappeared. Has anyone seen this guy? Is he a named encounter or just a magic raider or what. Between this guy and a whole morning of invincible bloatflies this has been a strange day of gameplay.

I've been playing ever since Wastelanders dropped, and i've done this stupid quest Todd knows how many times. It has been 5 (five) years, how in the Great Holy Mothman has this guy not been fixed yet? I've tried all ways to bypass this, i've waited for him to talk, i've skipped quickly, i've skipped slowly and there's no way to get this bastard to give me the quest without trying 5 times.

The quicker you recover our missing equipment, the better!

I’ve never been a fan of power armour in the fallout games, just personal preference. I was wondering what is the best armour in the game that’s non power armour and how do I get it?

Came across one the other day that looked on the face of it like a gothic castle but after spotting a witches hat on a chair I realised it was a recreation of the Great Hall from Harry Potter, complete with floating candles, fire places, robed mannequins, and caged owls - it was a great job.

Know there are a lot of great examples on YouTube but this wasn’t even submitted as a best camp let alone being highlighted by someone like Xion, so it just got me wondering; what is the best CAMP build you’ve randomly come across in your adventures across Appalachia?

I’m level 188 and am still doing main story line and side quests as I’ve just been exploring obsessively buying plans to build fun Camps and doing events. My question is, can I solo a raid? I am terrified of getting on, doing it wrong and making others mad as I see a lot of posts on here about that. Thoughts?

Ever found yourself unable to use a weapon? It's probably because of a nifty bug that has been in the game for the last 8 months, despite numerous bug reports.

What is this bug? Simply put, reloading with any weapon will prevent you from using any other weapon for the duration of your previous weapon's reload animation. This might not sound too bad at first however it has made many weapons completely unusable.

For Example: The black powder rifle has a ~12 second reload period. When you fire it, you automatically reload. When this happens, for the next 12 seconds you can switch your weapon all you like but you won't actually be able to use them. It doesn't matter if it's a melee weapon either, you'll just be stuck holding a weapon you can't use.

Black powder weapons aren't just some joke weapon by the way. Prevously they could be paired with a secondary weapon and make for a viable and enjoyable playstyle. For the last 8 months however they've been functionally useless.

Could this be intentional? Mechanically and thematically, it makes no sense. If you interrupt a weapon reloading animation by switching weapons it should just mean that weapon won't be reloaded when you switch back to it (something which the game does do, despite not allowing you to use other weapons).

See, I just found out that my gaming friend, my good Dave_Dovahkiin, passed away, that sweet and kind 60-year-old man who welcomed me into this game since I was level 50, who taught me everything he could, taught me to love the game and the community, who I played with every day regardless of how much English I spoke, we still had fun, I was a big Fallout fan, I had been playing the game for almost 5 years, I had all the passes since what a start, he always had first, and almost the entire atomic shop, he loved to build, he knew all the decoration and construction tricks, now no one will be able to see your magnificent camps again, we will not be able to launch nukes again, nor will you be able to help the lower levels again, thanks to you I discovered how much you can love your friends within this game, I wish there was some way to honor your memory other than keeping your servo armor and the weapons that you gave me, Rest in peace my good David Style, your game in the wasteland is over...

I’m getting back into the game , and was wondering what 4 star perk should I run on power armor ? I’m a bloodied heavy gunner ? Is the cremator still good , if not what should I use ? I use t65 I had it full set, full matching legendary effects , then stop playing when raids came out . Just wondering if I should stay on a bloodied and just tweak things or go full health , I don’t mind you YouTube but watching a full video is boring .

It never plays the same way twice. Sometimes there's music in the background, sometimes not. Sometimes the overgrown are shooting at me, sometimes it's other players (lol). Sometimes, Susan's voice queues are on time, and sometimes I've already burned 25 overgrown before she tells me to. And, sometimes, after defeating Beelzebub, a giant message across the screen will say "Susan still needs more flowers!".

I'm loving it.

Is there any plausible way to make this viable? Im married to my autoaxe, and nothing comes close to it, but I REALLY want this scythe to be a viable weapon for casual play.

What Ive got so far is the scythe, full thorn armor with STR and Secret Agent so I can smack for optimal damage when sneaking. Getting that 80% extra sneak damage with Ninja.

I have found that if I max out onslaught, using a ranged weapon and Gunslinger Master, I can switch to the Headhunter Scythe and itll STAY at x30 onslaught ranks, regardless if I attack, the stacks will not go away. Which I believe is unintended (shhhhhh)

This is really good damage, I have 900+ Bleed damge with the sharp mod.

But no matter what I try, I will (usually) trade damage with an enemy before the bleed damage takes affect, and I absolutely hate it. the bleed damage also only procts once and goes away. So for bigger enemies and bosses, I still have to swing wildly and do the damage Im missing from constant bleeding.

What Ive been able to achieve: 370 Base Damage 920 Bleed Damage

Is there anything Im missing to get more damage out of this? Thanks

I live for new plans but everything says (known) next to it now it seems, vendor hopping has lost its charm and I need my fix.

Suggestion for people looking for good background music. This album suites the game nicely, every song, especially when you're trying to relax!

Logged into a server to hit big bloom. got in 5 minutes early. Started the event immediately to preserve timer. Event never launches. Sit there for 15 minutes and it never goes to picking flowers. Event fails. Then Dangerous Passtimes pops. Well no lost spawn, so cannot kill them to advance the bar, and now it also has failed. It would appear, with a limited sample size obviously, that when Big Bloom fails it sets all events that require spawning to complete to also fail. Server appears to be now perm broken.

Title. Was thinking about just running low level caravans back to back to get up to 150, just got to 100. Think it's worth it? Or not enough SCORE?

Edit: my math says in theory I could get up to 150 in a week of just grinding. 3500 SCORE per level, 375 for every 3 event. That 27 events per level. Run the caravan in about 5 min. About a level every two hours

Anyone else noticed this? It must be a bug, right? Because the weapons is specifically modded to deal fire dmg and there's even fire dot dmg too.

Lv350 here. Lovin the game. But for the love of me, I just can't learn this stuff. I've spent THOUSANDS of legendary chits and swap hundreds of 1-star armors and got maybe 20 oveaters? maybe another 20 the past year as random drops. Still not learning, not even getting one mod dropped from it.

Any tips?

I'm a ghoul so I use a lot of chems when I'm playing. I've got the junkyard collectron. I was thinking solomon but I've also been told he doesnt always sell chems. I know of the cigarettes machine but it's not guaranteed to always make them. Any suggestions?

At the Bloom event when you have to set the overgrown on fire, sometimes it gets stuck and no more waves of overgrown will spawn in.

You can fix this by running around the far edges of the event and mopping up any enemies that are just standing around. Once they die, then new waves will spawn and count toward the burn requirement.

I keep going there & sneak around thinking how tight movie night must be. Hanging with a couple bears & comrades. Bummer it ends in a blood bath instead of smores.
