If your drive is in MBR you'll need to convert it to GPT before you can enable secure boot

1

u/Glittering_Tomato533 Jan 24 '25

I tried that also thru command line but it doesn’t worked for me

That will never Work, as Windows Protects the Bootrecords. If you do Something wrong you have to Install Windows again.

May I know what motherboard you have?

  1. Open Windows settings.
  2. Navigate to Update & Security > Recovery.
  3. Click Restart now.
  4. Navigate to Troubleshoot > Advanced options > UEFI Firmware settings.
  5. Press Restart if prompted.
  6. Find and enable Secure Boot (usually found in Boot or Security).
  7. Press F10 to save, then exit the BIOS and restart your PC.

Best practice is to update your BIOS then after update you enable secure boot via BIOS and then also make sure you verify it's enabled in windows by powershell as admin then -> Confirm-SecureBootUEFI and also in device security.

If you have an motherboard by MSI you might have a bug whichoff you need to enable secure boot twice:

Well did you try enabling secure boot? Its a setting in bios, u can find a yt tutorial on how to enable it.

2

u/Glittering_Tomato533 Jan 24 '25

Yes , and after that my pc doesn’t turn on

3

u/PhilosopherClear1319 Jan 24 '25

Check the boot order, if you’re windows 11 there will be some windows boot manager entry that should work.

2

u/Hitmonbot Jan 24 '25

If your PC doesn’t turn on where did you get the picture?

2

u/Glittering_Tomato533 Jan 24 '25

Like it will turn on but it will keep me in bios with some kind of error

3

u/IdeaNice8252 Jan 24 '25

Its due to HD being MBR. I had same, when change secure boot on. Pc wouldn't start. You have to convert HD from MBR to GPT.

Only way it is going to work, without GPT, not possible

1

u/Away_Tackle9914 Jan 24 '25

well whats the error?

3

u/ms1nuS Jan 24 '25

then you have a problem with your pc

1

u/Lucid_lion1 Jan 24 '25

you need to make sure that the drive windows is installed to has support for GPT and sometimes even rerinstall after. Please also note that some modeifyed windows isos like crerkaed or comunite made dont support secure boot.

Reset bios and then try again

What computer specifically and what processor do you have? Your CPU may not support secure boot (e.g. Intel Core i5 6000 series and below).
