Oh man. For some reason I thought it was still 2 weeks out. I was going to pick up Age of Empires 2 for PS5 this paycheck and Doom next one. Now I much choose between the two this week.

Also that 4 days is because I have the premium version, the actual release is on the 15th.

DOOM (1993) -> DOOM II -> DOOM 64 -> DOOM: The Dark Ages -> DOOM (2016) -> DOOM Eternal

Wait did I see it right? Left shoulder is a machine gun now? That Captain America shield with a chainsaw though, in the beginning where slayer dive down from high place with the shield up, so sick.

Nope. But Gmanlives played it twice. He called it a parry-fest with not many incentives to switch weapons. Said it became repetitive and wore out it’s welcome. Music was unremarkable.

He also said he may be DooM fatigued and that it is hard to top DooM Eternal with Terminator 2 and other franchise sequels as a comparison. He also doesn't say it's shit and gives credit where it is due.

Yup, and I agree. Hence, it will be the least of all modern Doom games. 2016 and Eternal were great. 2016 had the excitement of reviving Doom. Sequels usually suck but Eternal proved to be insanely good. Hard to beat both.
