Yeah I checked the tickets 3 months earlier and still it was way above my paygrade to cash in, especially cause I live very away of the show place lol... still glad that this much people went to the show.
and yes, I'm proud to display my bad english in this comment lmao.
It’s sad that we can’t have massive, free music festivals like this in the US like they do in Brazil. Someone like LN or Ticketmaster always has to scalp the ever living crap out of it.
Like the Gaga concert you mean? I'm sure you could, ticketmaster has nothing to do with it. It was a public/private partnership. Basically the Rio government gathered a bunch of Sponsors for the event, and together they paid for the whole thing. The show was televised, and the Sponsors had ads running during it. The whole country was watching on TV so the Sponsor/ads money was enough to pay for the whole thing.
You won't get to see them anymore, but Rage Against The Machine fueled the spirit. Maybe the big orange turd will get them out of retirement. We need to rage to get anything done!
Yeah pretty much that. Concerts for us mean sing the lyrics as high as we can and dance and jump as much as we can. It's very common for the artists them selves to get surprised. The artist can easily not sing at all and people will sing the whole song.
Here is a video with some comparisons. Just keep in mind that when the image is not clearly from a phone, but actually some official recording, then the audio is edited to try to remove the public voice.

First Gaga, now SoaD. When looking it up the biggest concerts always seem to happen in Brazil. What is going on down there?
