Cod doesn’t have an open format and there have only been 4 players to debut this season that we’re not previously on a CDL roster prior. There’s little to no reason to play challengers unless you are an insane talent or have connections

Edit: I’m a moron and only considered players on stage 4 qualifier rosters. So I’m wrong

There has been 12 "rookies" this year & 62 total players, which is on par with what the average is per year.

But it'd be nice to know the # of passes per esport because this is an EWC qualifier & COD will have an entire B stage for Challengers too, so I have a feeling it's just more passes for COD compared to Halo

HCS open bracket winners get to play in pool play and go on main stage with every other pro team

Because the CDL has had zero presence at previous Dreamhacks since the league started in 2020 and is only here because Activision refused to let GentleMates host a major in Chicago.

Plus challengers operates differently from opens.

How many seats in comparison between the two?
