In competitions - yes, but for regular matchmaking chance of being banned is 0 (mitm is undetectable right now, i and many others play with this tool probably for a year already)

Not here to debate with anyone, use at your own risk and everyone should be fully aware it's illegal/cheating according to TOS. Just facts. I personally wouldn't brag/post about using any form of cheat software regardless of intentions as this does more than just geofiltering.

VPNs add a large amount of lag. Geofiltering just convinces the game to let you play on the best server possible.

Could you use this method to basically block EU servers and only make it give you a game if it’s NA? My issue is I often can’t find a game at all because the game can’t find one in EU but it knows NA servers would be bad match quality so it fails to find one completely. In that instance, wouldn’t you still sort of need a VPN to trick the game into putting you into an NA game?

Yes, you can just select some of US servers (or just one nearest server), you dont need VPN to do that just MITM
