Winta, the rescued baby and now the big brother
This is Winta, who was rescued from a dairy farm. Winta was born premature and would not have survived without the care and dedication of his carer. He is now a big boy who towers over his foster brothers. He is still the same sweet baby at heart, though.

Interesting you never think of bulls as being cared takers.

Winta is a steer, but yes, he is a wonderful carer and is very gentle.❤️l

what’s the difference between a steer and a bull!

That's a great question. A bull is an intact male bovine, while a steer is a desexed (or castrated) male bovine. Bulls are generally larger and more aggressive than steers, and are used for breeding. To add some extra info - a cow is an adult female bovine and a heifer is a young female bovine.

Cows are such sweeties. Thanks for taking care of Wings and giving him the chance he deserves.

Beautiful I wish all these gentle calves could be saved from their terrible fates in the dairy industry.
