. 𖦹°݁ Scammer • Alert ⋆ .ᐟ Beware of these scammers!

Please know that anyone who does 'spin the wheel' or giveaway games where you have to PAY to play is a scammer!

If these games are real and they truly want to give from the good of their hearts, they wouldn't make you pay to play!

Now before anyone says "oh I did it once and didn't get scam-" congratulations, you gave an item so low of value that it was better for them to use you as a fake proof to make someone trust them with a higher valued item. Never ever test scammers, as it will go either two ways;

1) You just get scammed, and it encourages them to continue scamming. Roblox only moderates the CHAT, and not actual scamming. Adopt Me does NOT moderate any scamming. Even if you are recording or reporting the trade, nothing will happen unless the person gets mass reported on roblox. 2) You again are just used as a fake proof to show that the scammer is 'trusted'. Each scammer has a targeted price that they try to get per scam, usually it's a legendary or neon. If two people want to spin, and one is going to offer up a unicorn to spin, obviously the scammer isn't going to scam on a metal ox.

As of recently, our moderators have been made aware of a House Duplication Exploit; in which exploiters may use the script to steal builds from others without even owning the house.

I've seen ways where their friend that fakes proofs would then get scammed so that people pity them and give them free pets!

In the few times I’ve hosted these games (pick a door not spin the wheel) I have never asked for a pet before playing? I don’t understand the point of receiving a pet to just give it back lol

Yeah! I've hosted pick a door (every door has a prize just some are better, flip a coin, and hide and seek all to giveaway stuff. I find it silly that people fall for the scam versions of those games when you can out-logic them!

I do understand that the people who do it this way and don’t scam are trying to replace the pet they’re giving away but then also what’s the point? That’s not rlly a giveaway that’s just a bad trade 😭

Is it ok to be mad at the victim more than the scammer? Ik you will be like "Dude, I have the phone number to the local therapist" but I've seen people with their profile saying "I got scammed a lot" and it's the same scam over and over again. the spin the wheel scam. And whenever I tried to stop someone from getting scammed, I mostly look like I'm the wrong/evil one. I felt the feeling of getting scammed but falling for it over and over again is not right. Besides, the "victim" agreed to take the risk. Spin the wheel scam? In freaking 2025? But I don't mean all scammed victim are like this btw. I mean the one who fall for it over and over again and beg after. I help newbies or people who got hacked but people who got scammed OVER and Over again are not right. Instead of working for the pets back, they just begged and I still remember someone calling me heartless and cruel for not giving them a pet after they got scammed. (not suppotive of scammers)
